Voting in the November 3 General Election is convenient and flexible. Explore your options below.

General Election Day Voting 

To vote on General Election Day, November 3rd, find your polling place here. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. For additional information on polling place rules, time off to vote, and same day registration information, visit the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website.

Early In Person 

In-person absentee voting begins September 18. Ramsey County voters can vote at the Ramsey County Elections Office, 90 Plato Blvd. W. in St. Paul, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Beginning October 16, voters can also vote at Ramsey County Library - Shoreview, 4560 Victoria St. N., Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional Ramsey County voting locations are also available.

Early by Mail

Any Minnesota voter can vote by mail. Request an absentee ballot online here. Ballots begin mailing September 18, and the Minnesota Secretary of State recommends applying by October 20.

A ballot returned by mail must be received by 8 p.m. on November 3rd (a postmark is not enough).

If you request or receive an absentee ballot but have not returned it, you may instead vote in person at your assigned polling place.

On Election Day, absentee ballots may be returned in person only to the Ramsey County Elections Office by 5 p.m. Do not return them to a polling place.
